Great-Grandpa Mitchell was born Aug. 23, 1888 in Escalante, Utah. He was the second child of ten children born to Zetland William and Annie Christine Schow.
He married Margaret Shirts on March 14, 1906 in Escaleante, Utah. They were later sealed in the Manti Temple on May 18. 1910. They had nine children, all of whom lived to adulthood.
After Margaret passed away. Great-Grandpa married Amanda Peterson on June 27, 1949. He also married Jetta Snow.
Great-Grandpa, himself, passed away 19, April 1972 in St. George, Utah. He is buried in Escalante next to Great-Grandma Margaret.
